As I walked the cobblestone streets, I couldn't help but be awed by the grandeur of the Florence Cathedral, also known as the Duomo. It's an architectural masterpiece, with its red-tiled dome dominating the city's skyline. Climbing to the top of the Duomo was an experience in itself, with panoramic views of the entire city. From Florence, we headed to the nearby town of Siena, famous for its medieval streets and the Palio, a thrilling horse race held twice a year in the city's central square, Piazza del Campo.
